Prosopis is a genus of about 45 mintage of leguminous spiny trees and shrubs found in semitropical & tropical regions of the Americas, Africa and southwest Asia. It typically thrive within arid soil & come insubordinate to droughts, on occasion getting super deep root systems. Their wood is usually stiff, heavy & durable. Their fruits come nuts and might contain big numbers of sugar.
